Who We're Looking For: Are you a highly motivated and creative Interior Design Assistant with a passion for transforming spaces? Do you bring a positive, energetic attitude to every project? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our team! We're looking for someone well-versed in installation practices, quality materials, current design trends, and the history of interior design styles. As an integral part of our team, you'll collaborate closely with clients, conceptualize designs, and manage projects from inception to completion. Your Role: • Client Whisperer: Work closely with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and budget. • Design Guru: Develop design concepts that align with client goals and project requirements. • Visualization Expert: Create detailed drawings, finishing schedules, purchase orders, mood boards, and 3D renderings to bring design concepts to life. • Material Maven: Select materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures that enhance functionality and aesthetic appeal. • Project Coordinator: Work with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution. • Quality Controller: Oversee installations to ensure designs are implemented according to specifications and quality standards. • Customer Service Star: Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships. • Sample Specialist: Collect samples and maintain positive relationships with all vendors, subcontractors, and superintendents. • Site Scout: Visit job sites to take detailed notes and photos. • Task Juggler: Manage a variety of tasks, schedules, and contacts efficiently. What You Bring: • Education: Associate degree in Interior Design, Project Management, Construction, or a related field. • Experience: 2 years in interior design or a related field with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects. • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with MyDoma or Revit is a major plus! • Design Knowledge: Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and spatial relationships. • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Multitasking Ability: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. • Positive Vibes: A positive and energetic personality with a commitment to detail, customer satisfaction, and problem-solving. • Bonus Points: Volunteer experience is a plus!
