Interior Design Assistant

Company Description Focal Point Design, LLC located in Westford, MA, specializes in creating customized spaces for clients from concept to completion. The 3,000 square foot design showroom has displays of all types of interiors materials and fixtures as well as an ever-growing material library. We would on all different types of residential design projects. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Design Assistant in our showroom. The Interior Design Assistant will be involved in CAD design, showroom material library organization and management, cabinet and tile design, fixture selection, communication with clients and team members, and developing floor plans and other installation documents. Qualifications • Space Planning and Interior Design skills • Strong communication skills • Experience in creating floor plans • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Knowledge of design software and tools • Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field • Attention to detail and organization • Knowledge of cabinet construction
