Interior Design Assistant

We are a fun, energetic, high-end residential interior design firm looking for an organized, forward thinking design assistant to join our fast growing team. This individual should be a self starter, with the ability to work in a team environment, and will be reporting directly to the senior designer. Responsibilities include... -obtaining quotes from vendors -data entry into Studio Designer (experience in Studio Designer is preferred but not necessary) -generating purchase orders, placing orders, and tracking orders -scheduling vendors and installations -preparation for client and vendor meetings -running a variety of errands to the design center and other local showrooms -maintaining general organization and cleanliness of the studio -Interest in supporting our social media platforms is a plus Requirements: -must have acute attention to detail and must be process oriented -must have a can-do attitude and bring positivity and support to the table -must have BA or equivalent art degree -car is required; our studio is based in Bethesda, MD -1-3 years of relevant experience -AutoCAD skills are preferred but not required -Adobe Creative Suite skills are preferred but not required -40 hours a week Benefits and salary offered are commensurate with experience.
