Interior Design Assistant at SVK Interior Design Qualifications: BA Degree Internship or previous experience as an interior design assistant Bay Area Based ( Some tasks can be done from home, but applicant must be able to commute to the design office in San Francisco and job sites in the Bay Area ) CA Drivers License and vehicle is a must Skills: AutoCAD Familiarity with Google Docs: presentations, Excel sheets, and Docs SketchUP Skills a plus Job Responsibilities: Rendering plans and elevations in AutoCAD Creating project presentations in Google Docs Creating project budgets in Google Docs / Excel Researching new materials, ideas, and vendors Requesting quotes from vendors Managing in progress purchases / scheduling deliveries Meeting vendors on job sites Assisting with furniture installations on job sites Assisting with photoshoots Picking up and returning samples Picking out new material ideas at showrooms Compensation & Benefits: Hourly Rate or Salary will be based on experience Benefits will be part of total compensation package Qualities: Strong passion for interior design and architecture Strong organizational instincts Strong communication skills; ability to communicate with vendors and clients of all ages and backgrounds Application: Cover Letter - Please tell me about yourself, your educational and professional background, and your career goals Resume - Please include information about your educational career from college onwards, please include your last five job positions and description of work and contributions References - Please give me three professional references.
