INTERIOR DESIGN ASSISTANT / SALES LEADER / FULL TIME We are seeking a Design
Assistant with a focus on sales and customer services, as well as help with
the day-to-day operations of our Showroom. About Us We are a local family-
owned business established in _____. We offer custom design for home and
business interiors with a retail store with a collection of quality products
and full-service design consultation. Located in Santa Ynez, we are a small
team dedicated to building relationships as we create beautiful environments
that elevate our customers interiors. Role The ideal candidate will have
experience in sales or interior design with excellent customer communication.
Excel in establishing credibility with each customer interaction and provide
the highest level of service to our customers. Highly motivated with the
ability to multi-task and collaborate with our team to maintain a warm and
inviting environment. This is a unique opportunity to join an established

our business model. Responsibilities • Answer phone calls from clients and
vendors, and channel the inquiries to the various people as needed • Cover the
retail floor space and provide strong sales approach. • Manage project
binders/folders: physical and digital • Maintain resource libraries- pricing,
fabrics, samples, etc • Obtain pricing and formal quotes on product and
textiles • Enter quotes and orders in system, generate purchase orders and
provide follow up on quotes, orders, etc • Tracking of orders and assisting
owner in general project management. • Creation of schedules and coordination
of product specifications • Errands as needed and other duties as needed on a
project basis • Work cohesively with our team and assist day-to-day operations
Qualifications • 2-5 years of strong experience in sales • Experience working
at a company in a shifting environment • Professional presentation with an
outgoing personality • Resourceful problem solver • Great communications
skills with customers and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner •
Enjoy working in a team environment • Passion for design and good color sense
a plus • Highly organized and results oriented • The desire to meet and exceed
measurable performance goals • Advanced computer skills using MS Office,
Google drive and docs, email programs, photo programs, paint, etc. Ability to
