Pay: From $20 per hour Job description: NTERIOR DESIGN ASSISTANT (PART-TIME) Gina Popescu Interior Design | Los Angeles We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant to support a growing Los Angeles-based interior design studio. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone passionate about interior design and the execution of high-end residential projects. Part-time: 18–24 hours/week Compensation: $20/hour THE ROLE Work directly with the principal designer as a true right handGain exposure to both creative and operational aspects of the studioBe immersed in daily studio life and project executionThrive in a fast-paced, evolving environmentIdeal candidate is a sponge—quick learner who anticipates needsExcited to grow and scale alongside the studio KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Source materials from PDC and LA showroomsCoordinate vendor pick-ups and drop-offsManage trade accounts and vendor relationshipsAssist on job sites and installationsMaintain schedule and project logisticsSupport studio organization and operationsAssist with social media and content creation QUALIFICATIONS Strong interest in interior design and materialsStrong personal aesthetic and eye for designHighly organized and detail-orientedProactive and resourceful mindsetProfessional communication skillsFamiliarity with LA design resources (plus)SketchUp, AutoCAD, or drafting proficiency (plus) REQUIREMENTS Reliable car and valid driver’s licenseBased in Los AngelesAble to transport samples and small furnishingsPlease send your resume, brief introduction, and any portfolio or social links. This position works directly alongside the owner and principal designer, acting as a true right hand. You will be closely involved in both the creative and operational sides of the business, gaining exposure to all phases of the design process. This is an opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, grow, and be fully immersed in the day-to-day of a developing studio. The ideal candidate is a SPONGE, someone who absorbs information quickly, anticipates needs, and moves with intention. We are a growing company, which means things can move quickly and aren’t always perfectly structured.
