About the Role
We’re seeking a full-time Interior Architectural Designer & Estimator to lead commercial millwork and cabinetry projects from concept through installation. This role blends technical design work, cost estimating, and project coordination across large-scale commercial and multi-family developments.
This is a high-impact opportunity to work within a growing interior solutions division under the umbrella of a well-established construction company. You’ll own your process from interpreting architectural plans to creating buildable layouts to guiding install coordination while collaborating with general contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Responsibilities
• Design and estimate Division 6 scopes, including cabinetry, countertops, and architectural millwork, for commercial interiors and multi-family construction projects.
• Use ProKitchen software to develop layouts and renderings that meet code, site constraints, and client expectations.
• Develop detailed estimates that include labor, materials, subcontractor quotes, and logistics using STACK, Excel, and other estimating platforms.
• Perform site measurements, review field conditions, and incorporate revisions, change orders, and construction adjustments.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, contractors, and trades to align design solutions with broader construction timelines.
• Maintain a polished showroom experience and uphold responsive, professional communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
• 2–3+ years of experience in commercial interior design, millwork, cabinetry layout, or estimating.
• Proficiency in ProKitchen is required.
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Revit / AutoCAD / Enscape / Adobe Creative Suite
• STACK, Excel, BuildingConnected, or ProCore
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction drawings and architectural documents.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills across multiple active projects.
• A leadership mindset, you take ownership, solve problems proactively, and confidently communicate across departments and with clients.
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000 (based on experience)
