As a Home Design Consultant, you will play a key role in helping our customers elevate their home decor with our collection of high-quality, modern... furnishings. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of design principles, excellent communication skills, and a love for helping others. Join us and be a part of creating beautiful and comfortable homes for our customers. Meet with customers to understand their interior design needs and preferences. Utilize strong design principles and knowledge of current trends to create visually appealing and functional living spaces for customers. Collaborate with customers to select and recommend appropriate furniture and home decor pieces from Banana Republic's collection. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to customers, addressing any concerns or questions, and ensuring their satisfaction with their purchases. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Banana Republic's home decor products, as well as any promotions or sales. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and provide suggestions for new product offerings. Act as a brand ambassador for Banana Republic by maintaining a professional and knowledgeable demeanor at all times. Work closely with the store team to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers. Organize and maintain the showroom to reflect a visually appealing and organized space. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals while also providing exceptional customer service. Attend training sessions and workshops to further develop design and sales skills. Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist with other tasks as needed. Utilize strong communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and recommendations to customers. Foster positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals. Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions.
