About the position
Responsibilities
• Join a close knit and collaborative team with a commitment to quality design and impeccable customer service.
• Perform and manage multiple tasks and be adaptable enough to change assignments as necessary to meet office deadlines.
• Produce full sets of high quality construction documents.
• Coordinate with other related trades such as Architects, MEP Engineers, and other consultants as well as code officials and contractors.
• Oversee furniture installations and conduct job site walk-throughs.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Requirements
• A bachelor's degree in Interior Design from an accredited University program.
• 5-7 years of healthcare interior design experience.
• Licensure or interest in completing your NCIDQ exam.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Proficient in project design, construction documents and construction administration.
• Knowledge of basic local building codes as well as accessibility requirements.
• Advanced design documentation skills and strong technical proficiency with Revit, Enscape, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite as well as Microsoft Office programs.
• 3-D computer rendering skills required.
Nice-to-haves
• Motivation and being a self-starter with an aptitude for learning and growing as a professional.
• Familiarity with interior furnishings and experience with the creation of furniture plans and specifications.
