Furniture Stylist

Job Summary Ashley Furniture seeks a highly motivated Visual Store Merchandiser to create engaging, on-floor furniture vignettes and in-store presentations that drive customer engagement. This role requires a strong understanding of interior styling, spatial layout, and excellent communication skills. Main Responsibilities: • Develop and implement effective display strategies to showcase products. • Collaborate with dock/warehouse staff and visual team members during major floor resets. • Evaluate daily floor conditions and merchandise transfers to inform product placement decisions. • Maintain and update showroom displays regularly to reflect current inventory and trends. • Add decorative elements to enhance display visual appeal. • Communicate regularly with visual management and other stakeholders. • Support dock personnel with furniture receipt, placement, and movement. Necessary Qualifications: • Proven ability to design and execute impactful visual displays. • Knowledge of interior design principles and spatial awareness. • Effective communication and teamwork skills. • Basic computer literacy and data entry skills. Workplace Requirements: • Regularly lift and move heavy objects up to 100+ lbs. • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs/ladders.
