Job Description: Flooring and Furniture Salesperson Cozy Interiors – Eagle River, AK Position Overview: Cozy Interiors is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Flooring and Furniture Salesperson to join our team in Eagle River, AK. As a Salesperson, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers create beautiful and functional living spaces by guiding them through their flooring and furniture purchasing decisions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: • Sales & Customer Service: • Assist customers in selecting flooring and furniture that best suits their style, needs, and budget. • Provide personalized recommendations and solutions based on customer preferences, space requirements, and design goals. • Demonstrate product features and benefits, ensuring customers have a clear understanding of the options available. • Create detailed quotes and process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any post-purchase issues. • Product Knowledge: • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in flooring and furniture, including materials, styles, and industry innovations. • Maintain a thorough knowledge of our product offerings, including different flooring types (e.g., hardwood, carpet, tile, vinyl) and various furniture collections. • Educate customers on product care and maintenance. • Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation: • Assist in maintaining an organized and visually appealing showroom. • Set up product displays to highlight new arrivals and seasonal promotions. • Keep inventory organized and ensure floor samples and furniture are well-maintained. • Team Collaboration: • Work closely with team members to ensure a smooth customer experience and a cohesive store environment. • Participate in staff meetings, product training sessions, and other team-building activities. • Administrative Duties: • Process sales orders and payments, including handling financing options if applicable. • Maintain customer records and follow up on leads or inquiries. • Help manage stock levels and assist in inventory tracking. Requirements: • Previous sales experience, preferably in flooring, furniture, or home goods retail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine interest in helping customers. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively. • Basic computer skills and experience with sales point systems or inventory software. • Knowledge of home decor and interior design trends is a plus. • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the company.
