Field Support Coordinator Strohmaier Design Build Location: Spokane, Washington Position: Full-Time Reports To: Management Team Position Overview Strohmaier Design Build is seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Field Support Coordinator to provide hands-on support across our construction, interior design, and operations teams. This is a highly varied, field-based position designed to help keep our projects and day-to-day company operations running smoothly. The Field Support Coordinator will work across departments and multiple active projects, assisting wherever additional hands are needed. Responsibilities will include maintaining clean and organized jobsites, documenting project progress through photography, picking up and delivering materials and supplies, assisting the Interior Design team with samples and project materials, supporting project installations, and handling a variety of field and company errands. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, likes being active and on the move, takes pride in being helpful and dependable, and naturally notices what needs to be done. Primary ResponsibilitiesJobsite Care & Organization Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites throughout construction. Perform routine jobsite cleanup, including sweeping, vacuuming, removing debris, and organizing work areas. Keep entrances, walkways, garages, and other designated areas clean and presentable. Assist with maintaining floor, cabinet, fixture, and other site protection as needed. Organize project materials, supplies, and designated storage areas. Help prepare jobsites for client meetings, architect and designer visits, inspections, photography, and other scheduled events. Assist with final project cleanup, organization, and preparation for client turnover. Project Photography & Documentation Visit active projects and take consistent progress photographs. Photograph work in progress, completed work, deliveries, and important construction details. Upload and organize project photographs in Buildertrend according to company procedures. Ensure project photography provides clear and useful documentation of construction progress. Communicate notable site conditions or concerns to the appropriate team member. Materials, Supplies & Company Logistics Pick up and deliver construction materials, interior design materials, samples, supplies, equipment, documents, and other company items. Transport items between jobsites, vendors, showrooms, the company office, storage locations, and other designated locations. Assist with receiving, checking, organizing, and distributing deliveries. Complete product returns and exchanges as needed. Help keep commonly used company and jobsite supplies stocked and organized. Coordinate pickups and deliveries to ensure items reach the correct project or team member. Assist with loading and unloading materials, furnishings, samples, and supplies. Interior Design Support Pick up and return samples, materials, furnishings, accessories, and other design-related items. Deliver samples or materials between the design team, vendors, clients, and jobsites. Assist the Interior Design team with organizing project materials and samples. Help receive, move, stage, and organize furnishings and décor when needed. Provide hands-on support during furniture, accessory, and styling installations. Assist designers with miscellaneous project-related errands and field needs. General Team & Company Support Provide day-to-day support across Construction, Interior Design, Operations, and Administration as needs arise. Assist team members with errands, deliveries, organization, setup, and other hands-on tasks. Help prepare for company meetings, client events, photoshoots, project installations, and other activities. Assist with maintaining organized company storage and supply areas. Help move materials, equipment, furniture, samples, and company items between locations. Respond to changing priorities and help wherever additional support is needed. Serve as a reliable resource for miscellaneous tasks that help the entire team operate more efficiently. Qualifications The ideal candidate will: Be dependable, punctual, and highly responsible. Be willing to jump in and help with a wide variety of tasks. Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Be proactive and able to recognize what needs to be done. Be comfortable working independently while also supporting multiple team members and departments. Be able to manage changing priorities throughout the day. Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Be comfortable using a smartphone for photography, communication, and company software. Have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Be able to safely lift, carry, load, and move materials, supplies, and other project items as required. Be comfortable working in active construction environments, finished homes, offices, showrooms, warehouses, and outdoor conditions. Previous construction or design industry experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, hardworking, organized, and eager to learn. What Success Looks Like The Field Support Coordinator helps make the entire Strohmaier Design Build team more efficient. Jobsites stay clean and organized. Project photography stays current. Materials and samples get where they need to go. Designers have help with pickups and installations. Deliveries and returns don't consume valuable project-team time. Company supplies stay organized. Small but important tasks don't fall through the cracks. This person becomes a trusted resource across the company: someone the team can rely on to step in, solve problems, and keep things moving. Position Characteristics No two days in this position will look exactly the same. One day may include photographing several active projects, cleaning and organizing a jobsite, and picking up construction materials. Another may involve returning design samples, helping receive furniture, delivering materials to a project, organizing company storage, or assisting the team with an installation. The Field Support Coordinator should enjoy this variety and be comfortable shifting priorities as the needs of our projects and company change.
