About this role

The College of Architecture at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln invites applications for a tenure-track position in Interior Design at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. We are seeking a highly qualified individual with expertise in interior architecture and/or design, who can contribute to the advancement of the interior design program through teaching, research/creative activity, and service. This faculty appointment offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a dynamic and inclusive community of scholars, where creativity, innovation, and collaboration thrive. As an instructor at UNL, you will be responsible for developing and teaching undergraduate design studio courses, as well as contributing to the college's intellectual environment through your research/creative activity and service to the department and university. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of producing high-quality scholarly work. They will also demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service, and articulate their vision for how they will contribute to the advancement of interior design through their teaching, research, and service.
