Expert Home Designer

Design Consultant Position We are seeking a passionate and customer service-oriented Design Consultant to collaborate with clients in our showroom, creating an individualized design experience that allows them to personalize their home according to their specific tastes and lifestyles. The successful candidate will provide professional advice and educate clients on the appearances and functionality of all interior finish products. They will guide clients through different selections based on style, quality, and price, ensuring excellent client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: • Providing professional customer service for customers calling and visiting our location. • Assisting clients with making selections to customize their home. • Entering customer information/selections into our computer system. • Preparing designer selection packages that include drawing details. • Coordinating with builders to confirm features, options, and upgrades. Requirements: • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Prior design-related experience with a home builder. • Detail-oriented, self-disciplined, and organized with focus on excellent follow-up. • Willingness to learn and adapt. • Ability to deal with conflict & set expectations. • Great listening skills and creative problem-solving with the ability to provide solutions. • Must be a team-player with an enthusiastic attitude. • Effective communication skills and a sense of urgency. • High level of integrity.
