We believe our greatest asset is our employees and that your success is our success thus we invest in you! This is a full-time commission based position which is based out of our Tigard Showroom. Designers with pre-established Industry Professional client contacts are preferred. We are seeking one full time, long term Design & Sales Consultant to join our Design Firm. This candidate will have prior custom closet design experience & have extensive sales pipeline management skills. When not on appointments, you will work out of our Tigard Showroom. You will assist both Industry Professional Clients and Homeowners in the local area with space planning, organization & design decisions. Every day brings a variety of design projects: master walk-in closets, kitchen pantries, children's nurseries, custom wine cellars, garage systems and more! You will also take inbound calls from national customers with design requests and/or questions regarding our products and services. There are opportunities to expand to management positions. • prior experience in the custom closet industry OR a certificate or degree in Interior Design or similar industry • be passionate about organization & home improvement • understand sales pipeline management skills to successfully work with multiple clients • have excellent written and oral communication skills • be very organized & be a great listener • have a keen eye for detail • Collaborate with clients to determine project requirements, goals, and budget • Manage multiple clients at once using CRM software • Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval • Create detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications using CAD software such as AutoCAD • Collaborate with clients to select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories for each project • Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of projects • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in design software and techniques We utilize KCD and CLoset Pro design software but experience with design tools, such as 2020, Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect and/or other similar design software will be an easy transition.
