Role Overview

We are seeking a Designer Assistant to work closely with our design team, supporting projects from beginning to post completion support. This role offers significant upside potential both professionally and financially. The ideal candidate will develop, upon gaining experience into a Design Consultant with an attractive incentive compensation program.
Key Responsibilities
– Greet and guide clients through the showroom, providing information on materials, cabinet layouts, and
organizational solutions.
– Assist designers with managing client inquiries, scheduling site visits, and preparing for in-store and on-
site appointments.
– Take detailed and accurate notes during consultations and training.
– Support designers in developing concept designs using 3D rendering software.
– Stay productive by improving software proficiency and expanding industry knowledge.
– Ensure adherence to established workflow procedures, tracking progress and updating records in CRM.
– Assist in closing sales by providing accurate product details and ensuring a positive customer experience
– Assist and or manage quality control standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
– Assist with post-installation follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.
– Assist with administrative duties such as data entry, quote preparation, and order tracking.
– Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
– High school diploma or equivalent required.
– Strong reliability and punctuality; must consistently be on time and available for scheduled shifts.
– Ability to take thorough notes and follow through on tasks without the need for repeated instructions.
– Resourceful and eager to learn; must show initiative.
– Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Email Services.
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
– Ability to pass a background screening.
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience in remodeling industry, interior design, customer service, or retail sales.
– Basic understanding of kitchen and bath design concepts, materials, and trends.
– Experience with design software such as 2020 Design.
– Associate’s degree in marketing, business, interior design, or related field preferred.
