Strickland’s Home (North Myrtle Beach showroom) has been a go-to destination for custom window treatments across Horry and Brunswick Counties for decades. We also design custom closet and home-organization systems and are actively growing that line in this market. What you’ll do
• Lead in-home and showroom design consultations for drapery, valances, blinds, shades, interior shutters, and closet/organization systems
• Create solutions (style + function + budget), present proposals, and close business
• Measure windows/closets accurately; coordinate with ops through order → install
• Own your territory (Southern Brunswick County, North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach): network with homeowners, builders, designers, and community partners
• Manage pipeline and follow-up in the CRM with timely “next steps”
• Partner with vendor reps; keep learning through ongoing product trainings (e.g., Hunter Douglas/Graber/Insolroll)
You are
• An experienced consultative seller (2+ years) in home improvement, furnishings, design, or luxury retail (window coverings or closets a plus)
• Comfortable measuring, sketching, and using basic design/visualization tools (e.g., iPad apps; 20/20/SketchUp familiarity is a plus)
• Organized and responsive—great at follow-up, appointments, and pipeline hygiene
• Professional in homes and on job sites; valid driver’s license required
• Able to work Mon–Fri with rotating Sat (10–2) and occasional local events
Compensation & schedule
• Training period (~90 days): guaranteed training pay
• After training: Commission Pay- realistic OTE $50k–$100k+ based on performance
• Full-time; primarily daytime hours with a rotating Saturday showroom shift
