Design & Project Coordinator

C&S Remodeling is looking for a Design & Project Coordinator to join a small, growing team in a hybrid role that spans design support, project administration, and general office operations. If you're comfortable switching between drawing software and a spreadsheet in the same hour, this is built for you. You'll work directly alongside ownership and our design team, helping move projects from sale to production in an organized, accurate way. The role is roughly split between design-side work and project/administrative work — both halves matter equally. Core responsibilities Design support • Assist with drawings, floor plans, and design documentation using Chief Architect or similar software • Prepare and organize design assets for client presentations • Make revisions to drawings based on direction from the design team • Maintain an organized library of project files, drawings, and selections Project & budget support • Assist with budget preparation, tracking, and reconciliation across active projects • Help pull together estimates and pricing documentation for review • Maintain project records and keep internal systems up to date • Track open items and help keep projects moving through the pipeline General office support • Answer phones and handle basic client communication • Keep files, folders, and documentation organized across shared systems • Support ownership and the team with day-to-day administrative tasks as needed Qualifications • Experience with Chief Architect, AutoCAD, or similar design/drafting software — Chief Architect is strongly preferred • Comfortable working with numbers, budgets, and spreadsheets • Strong attention to detail — you catch things before they become problems • Organized and reliable with good follow-through • Clear communicator, in writing and on the phone • Able to shift between tasks without losing focus Nice to have • Background in remodeling, construction, or interior design • Experience in a project coordinator or office support role • Familiarity with construction or job management software • Interest in how projects are estimated and priced What we offer • Direct access to ownership — you'll know what's happening and why • Clear structure and defined expectations from day one • A small team where your work actually moves the needle • Room to grow as both our design and operational capacity expands • A quality-driven company that takes pride in what it builds Company DescriptionEstablished in 2015 as a family-owned and family-run business, C&S Remodeling is among the leading home remodeling contractors near San Antonio.
