Design Professional / Interior Designer

We are looking for a Design Professional / Interior Designer who is comfortable drafting and picking up redlines while also exploring design solutions, picking out finishes, and contributing to the overall success of various community-focused projects. Pinnacle's work focuses on affordable housing, community health, senior living, and public service projects, with a mission to enhance lives and communities. You must thrive on working collaboratively, describe yourself as detail-oriented, and have a love of learning. Day-to-day, you'll be working directly with our project architects and interior designer to investigate design solutions and create a solid set of documents. But things won't be boring! Being a smaller firm, you will get the opportunity to work on several projects simultaneously, and you'll never be pigeonholed into one project type. Your day will include everything from helping our architects draft and pick up redlines to picking out finishes. Pinnacle has offices in Bend and Portland. THE SKILLS/QUALITIES YOU NEED: • A love of design and collaborating with others. • Able to work independently and not afraid to ask questions. • Proficient in Revit with 3+ years of experience. • Skilled at balancing multiple priorities and self-organizing your workload. • Enjoy exploring ideas and learning daily. • 3+ years of interior design experience, preferably at an architecture firm. • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: • Provide input into designs at our all-office design charrettes. • Work with the design team to define program and space requirements. • Investigate and suggest design solutions both individually and in a group charrette environment. Develop presentation graphics and 3D renderings to communicate the design. • Research and assist with selection of all finishes for a project’s exteriors and interiors. Really help brand the building. • Assemble finish schedules and material boards (digital and physical). • Using standard Revit templates refine: Floor plan, reflective ceiling plan, interior elevations, and interior details. Pick up redlines from others. • Develop material legend and finish schedule. • Transfer selected materials into specification manual. • Research and select FFE. • Assist the architects with Construction Administration including interior specific RFIs, submittals, and punchlist walks.
