19six is seeking a highly motivated and experience Design Professional, to work in the various markets in our Roseville office (civic, education, healthcare, housing, hospitality). Interior Design Professionals are responsible for providing support on a variety of projects through all project phases, under the direction of a Job Captain, Project Manager or Principal.
PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and demonstrate efficient task management
• Understand basic concepts of furniture systems and freestanding furniture
• Develop and demonstrate knowledge of interior finishes and their appropriate applications
• Work under the direction of senior staff on projects, adhering to project design intent, schedule and internal budget
• Work with senior team members to develop blocking plans, space plans, elevations and design details
• Interface with architectural staff in conveying design intent
• Field verify existing building conditions with the assistance of senior staff
• Assist in project research and information gathering for interior materials specifications
• Responsible for the implementation of presentation materials, such as visioning and color boards
• Assist as a member of the programming team to gather and implement information throughout the project
• Organize materials and coordinate updates & meetings with product reps
• work with senior team members in the development of construction documents
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design is required
• 1 to 3 years’ experience designing/drafting interior architecture/design projects
• CID certification and/or LEED certification not required, but are a plus
• Experience with DSA and/or OSHPD/HCAI process preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated, positive and ability to problem solve
