Position: Design Manager Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (Car Allowance + Package + Discretionary Bonus) Location: Cheshire East, Cheshire Job Type: Full time, Permanent This would be an opportunity for a professional to work alongside a large corporate, close knit team culture offering exciting projects to be involved in. Design Manager Responsibilities Will Include • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of design delivery across multiple building projects, ensuring integration between disciplines. • Lead design team meetings with consultants and subcontractors, manage actions, and issue minutes to maintain progress and accountability. • Review and manage design documentation including drawings, specifications, and contractual information to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Conduct technical design reviews to ensure build ability, contractual compliance, and adherence to planning, BREEAM/Part L, and Building Control requirements. • Manage design changes, track RFIs, record client approvals, and ensure all feedback is addressed and closed out efficiently. Design Manager - Qualifications & Desired Skills • Relevant experience in building or construction design - ideally as a Design Manager, Design Coordinator, D&B Manager or similar. • Industry qualifications such as HNC/HND or a Degree (Construction, Civil Engineering, Architecture or similar). • Full UK driving licence (role involves office and site-based coordination).
