Initial Phone Screening: We start with a casual conversation to discuss the basic details of the position and to introduce you to our company culture. During this call, we'll also explain our interview process and answer any questions you may have. 2. In-Person Interview with HR Manager: You'll have the opportunity to meet with our HR Manager to further discuss the position, your qualifications, and how you align with our company values. 3. Background Check and Drug Test: To ensure the safety and security of our team and clients, we conduct a thorough background check and drug test as part of our hiring process. 4. Working Interview Summary The Design Manager is responsible for bringing our customers’ visions to life by recommending finish materials and products that matches our customer’s style and budget, overseeing and directly managing 3-d renderings adjustments and specification sheet creations, and finalizing sales of all finish materials and supplemental labor if needed for our projects before coordinating with the Distribution division on order processing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Lead and manage the Design division of Fulfillment which duties include but are not limited to, either directly or through subordinates, assisting our customers with selecting finishes (tile, cabinets, faucets, etc.) for their home renovation project, managing client expectations and communications, product evaluation and managing all finish material sales. • Cultivate customer relationships during the pre-sale Design Consultations and post-sales Walk-throughs and lead conversations regarding interior design, finish material selections and project budget. • Facilitation of Fulfillment Finish Consultation meetings with customers, finish material selection, creation of finish material estimates to include shipping, handling and additional labor as needed and adjustment of 3-d renderings to create an accurate depiction of the proposed after product, either directly or through subordinates. • Coordinate with the Fulfillment & Retail Manager to receive new finish material samples (ie. Tile, grout, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, hardware, etc.), organize and maintain stock of samples within the kitchen and bath showroom area. • Optimization of finish material samples layout within the kitchen and bath showroom area of Palmetto Renovations of Columbia, Inc. in cooperation with the Sales department. • Assist customers within the showroom as it relates to finish material-specific queries and potential sales. • Facilitate research of product costs and specifications and send information to the Procurement Specialist upon finalization of Finishes Contract sale for order processing. • Creation of 3D computer aid design drawings, which could include floor plans, elevations, sections, details, perspective drawings and renderings. • Maintaining entries in Monday.com, BuilderTrend.com, and digital cloud-based storage locations to facilitate providing information to clients and management. • Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This position supervises the Design Team of the Fulfillment & Retail Department.
