Design Coordinator

Position Overview: Grace Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Interior Design Coordinator to support our construction projects by ensuring seamless collaboration between designers, architects, and project teams. This role will maintain brand standards, coordinate design updates, and facilitate project execution. Key Responsibilities: • Act as the key point of contact between Grace Development, Construction, Procurement and its brand partners. • Develop and maintain a Responsibility Matrix in collaboration with designers and architects. • Coordinate and implement updates to brand design prototypes. • Assist owners in selecting color schemes. • Identify and establish project needs in relation to interior design. • Create project specifications to ensure design consistency. • Oversee interior design plan reviews, ensuring alignment with project goals and brand standards. • Manage project design timelines. • Maintain and update the brand website with relevant design information. • Prepare and submit design packages for brand approvals. • Ensure smooth coordination between the preconstruction and procurement teams to facilitate project execution. • Review interior design contracts. Qualifications: • 3-5 years of design experience. • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. (preferred). • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp. • Familiarity with hospitality industry (preferred). • Experience with Bluebeam and Procore (preferred). • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Skills: • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in design execution and documentation. • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Additional Requirements: • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as required by project needs.
