Design Coordinator

Torrance Mitchell Designs is seeking an organized, dynamic and self-motivated Design Coordinator. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, solution focused, flexible, confident, creative and genuine. The role will require assisting the team and principal in coordinating and managing projects, creating schedules and construction documents, drawing furniture plans, updating client portals and working directly with trades and vendors as well as communicating with clients. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Drafting furniture plans, elevations, and interior details - Assisting in the creation of construction / interior schedules - Assisting with sourcing, specifications, and pricing - Assisting with the creation of work orders - Assisting with management of projects from inception to installation - Organizing client presentations + creating design boards - Accompanying principal to job sites + client meetings - Maintaining sample library in the studio + general office upkeep
