This is a consultative sales + interior design role where you will create custom storage solutions and deliver a premium customer experience from concept to installation. Key Responsibilities As a California Closets Design Consultant, you will: Offer a luxury experience through product expertise and elevated service Provide in-home design consultations and space planning Design custom solutions using proprietary CAD software Work with interior designers, decorators, and builders Manage multiple client projects with strong attention to detail Travel daily to appointments in Washtenaw, Livingston, Oakland, and Wayne Counties Qualifications Preferred Skills Experience in sales, interior design, home improvement, home organization professional, or related field Strong consultative sales and closing skills Ability to build rapport and develop relationships quickly Highly organized with excellent time management Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects Requirements Strong communication and presentation skills Tech savvy – ability to learn proprietary CAD design software Laptop required Must be able to travel frequently to Washtenaw, Livingston, Oakland, and Wayne Counties Valid driver’s license Full-time availability, includes some evenings and weekends Compensation Paid training Uncapped commission structure On-target earnings: $85,000–$120,000+ Pre-set, qualified appointments provided Work Environment Field-based, in-home sales role Combination of client visits, remote design work, and showroom collaboration Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Learn more about our Michigan team here.
