Design Consultant

Overview: Traditions of America, a leader in 55+ resort-style new home communities, is adding an experienced Design Consultants to work in our Rose Ridge Community in Allison Park, PA and Southpointe Community in Canonsburg, PA. As a Design Consultant for Traditions of America, you will focus on helping home buyers navigate though the design process as they build their "dream home". In addition to customer orientations, a successful Design Consultant will guide customers through the entire process from interior and exterior color selections to comprehensive home designs, manage all custom pricing requests, and achieve final selections in a timely manner. Every interaction focuses on delivering an amazing customer experience. This position will alternate between our two new home design studios. Compensation includes a base salary, benefits, and commission. Job Description: The responsibilities of the Design Consultant include: • Schedule and meet with our valued home buyers to help them make confident decisions on interior selections, options, and personal choices to achieve the vision of their new home • Create accurate requests for custom options, design selections and supplemental drawings • Maintain a thorough knowledge of included home features and showroom products • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of interior design principles, color trends, and space planning Requirements: • Degree in Interior Design • Minimum of 3-5 years of design experience. Preference in new home construction • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multi-task • Microsoft Office experience desired
