Position Summary: The Design Assistant supports the Design Project Managers in the execution of residential design projects. This entry-level role assists with gathering appliance specifications, maintaining accurate project documentation, entering notes into Buildertrend, and supporting overall project organization. This position is ideal for someone beginning a career in design and project coordination who is eager to learn and grow. Qualifications and Physical Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or degree in interior design, drafting, construction, or a related field is a plus • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office or similar programs • Willingness to learn design software, project management systems, and internal • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment • Interest in design, cabinetry, or construction • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods • Ability to work at a computer and use standard office equipment • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds • Ability to move throughout the office or showroom as needed • Must have an approved driving record, valid driver’s license, and meet insurability standards. • Must have an approved background check. • Must maintain a substance-free working environment.
