Design Assistant

Our Design/Build company is in need of a full time Design Assistant with a desire to learn alongside our Lead Designer in a creative environment. Ability to work well with others is essential, as are verbal communication skills. Design/Arts degree preferred. Responsibilities and DutiesHelp clients with selections - Source options within budgeted allowance Join client to tile store, photograph & document selections Request quotes for all selections Order selections Receive selections Report if change orders are needed Create virtual binders for each job Create categories for each job Upload selection specs Upload latest drawings Print QR codes for each area Qualifications and SkillsBackground in CAD Technical drawings for cabinetry manufacturing Basic closets Good work ethic Self-motivated, honest, dependable, respectful Mathematical and analytical skills Able to understand verbal and written instructions and envision all steps in assigned tasks Benefits include a healthcare reimbursement plan, company-matched retirement plan, two weeks vacation, eight holidays and performance bonuses.
