Degree Instruction Specialist - Interior Design

Substitute Degree Instructor - Interior Design Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our team as a substitute degree instructor. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' professional design experience, with expertise in both commercial and residential design. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, providing students with individualized assistance, guidance, and study strategies for the development and improvement of basic skills. They will also support student retention by regularly reviewing individual completion of learning activities, monitoring attendance, and contacting students as necessary. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality instruction to interior design students. • Provide individualized assistance and guidance to students. • Monitor student progress and attendance. • Maintain accurate records of grades and attendance. • Serve as a resource for students seeking additional support. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field. • Minimum of three years' professional design experience. • Working knowledge of AutoCad and/or other CAD software. • Prior teaching experience preferred. • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
