Customer Service Opportunity--Designer Showroom

My client gives life to designers’ visions. They are a unique textile company with many high end hospitality and residential clients. Jeu have been in business for over 18 years and are stable and growing. They work with some of the most exquisite hotels around the globe. Due to expansion and growth they are in need of a customer service associate. We are seeking a friendly and detail oriented customer service associate with a can-do attitude for a full- time position who will be responsible for: \\- Answering phones and assisting with inquiries including stock checks and order status updates. \\- Greeting interior designers as they visit the showroom. \\- Working on business development, doing research to identify and contact new clients. \\- Assisting with new product launches. \\- Assisting with fabric and/or trim pulls for clients. \\- Learning the product line of high end fabrics and trimmings. \\- Following up with clients on open orders in a timely manner. \\- Maintaining and organizing showroom displays. \\- Filing away sample returns. With this position there is great potential for growth and an opportunity to move up within a short period of time. OB REQUIREMENTS \\- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. \\- Candidate must be professional and friendly, willing to engage with designers to provide a pleasant customer service experience. \\- The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the interior design industry and eager to learn about fabrics and trims. \\- Previous experience in the interior design industry is a plus. \\- We are looking for someone who is proactive and creative in coming up with ideas to help build a great customer service experience for our clients. \\- Excellent computer, communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills are a must. \\- It’s important that the candidate has the ability to work effectively with a small team and assist with small tasks when asked.
