CAD Designer for furniture

3 YEARS REQ. Skutchi Designs is located Conway, South Carolina. We manufacture and sell quality casework, custom desks, modular wall and other custom decorative elements for Commercial Facilities, Healthcare, Hospitality, Private, Educational and Financial Sectors. Our 60,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility has the latest, state of the art machinery. Hours 8:30am - 5pm M-F... Responsibilities The CAD designer with assist with designing floor plans as well as assist with accurate and detailed shop drawings. • Space planning • Create files to send to the CNC • Assist in the design of furniture under direction of the Project Manager. • Produce detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD and/or other software. • Solve any material or design issues during building process • Proficiency in fabrication techniques for custom millwork, cabinetry, furniture. • Motivated & organized with great communication skills. • Meticulous attention to detail. • Cabinet and door hardware (functional and decorative hardware) knowledge. Such as: Hinges, drawer slides, door hardware, cabinet pulls and knobs, general door hardware, general cabinet hardware. A PLUS not a Must. Required Skills and Abilities: • 3 YEARS MIN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Proficiency in AutoCAD • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel skills • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to read, understand floor plans. • Ability to work under pressure. • Extremely detail-oriented. • Ability to work on a deadline driven schedule Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • 401(k) • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: • Conway, SC 29526: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
