Associate Interior Designer

Job Summary Prominent Interior Design Firm in Roseville has an immediate opening for an **Associate Interior Designer** to join their team **. **Focused on projects in the Healthcare and Commercial market sectors. Must have Interior Design Degree and 1-5 years of related work experience in the design industry. Success depends on strong organizational skills, along with professional attitude, pleasant personality and strong interpersonal skills. Individual should have a working knowledge and understanding of space planning and design in the commercial and/or healthcare industry. Position requires proficiency in a variety of computer programs related to the design industry. AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience is required. Individual should be able to manage projects from inception to completion under the guidance of the Design Director. ** Some Duties to Include:** - Select design materials and furniture as required. - Prepare worksheets for various design items and costing. - Space Planning. - Provide CADD drafting. - Prepare finish schedules. - Attend client meetings. - Calculate square footages in CAD typically for BOMA purposes. - Prepare specification boards. - Systems furniture planning and pricing. - Order samples/interact with manufacturer reps. - Prepare Contracts and Project Agreements. **About Aerotek** Our people are everything.
