We are seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to join a collaborative and innovative team. Core Responsibilities As an Architectural Drafter, you will play a key role in bringing design concepts to life. Your day-to-day will include: CAD Development: Utilizing AutoCAD 2027 to develop comprehensive working drawings and preliminary design concepts.Site Documentation: Performing field measurements (as needed) of existing site dimensions, including floor plans and elevations.Drafting & Layouts: Developing detailed CAD site plans, floor plans, and elevations based on existing drawings and field data.Project Documentation: Ensuring all technical drawings meet firm standards and project specifications.Collaboration: Working closely with the design team to ensure accuracy from the conceptual phase through final production. Education & Technical RequirementsEducation: Associate Degree in Architectural Drafting or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in architectural.Software Proficiency: High level of proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with 2027 version preferred).Technical Skills: Proven ability to accurately field measure and translate physical dimensions into digital drawings.Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective team documentation and reporting. Preferred Skills (The Plus List) While not required, candidates with experience in the following will be given top priority: Proficiency in Sketchup or Revit for 3D modeling.Experience with Adobe Creative Suite for high-end conceptual renderingsSpecialized experience developing 3D cabinet and millwork drawings in Sketchup.
