About this role
Fairfield University's College of Arts and Sciences is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach a semester-long course in the exclusively online MA degree Interior Design program. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design and NCIDQ certification. The course will be taught during the day and evening, and the instructor will be responsible for teaching sections of core... board courses as well as lighting. Responsibilities:
• Teach a semester-long course in the online MA degree Interior Design program
• Develop and deliver course content in a way that promotes student engagement and learning
• Evaluate and assess student progress and performance
• Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to support the academic success of students
• Participate in departmental and university meetings and events as required
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
• NCIDQ certification
• Excellent teaching skills and experience in Interior Design
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
