About this role

Position Overview The Account Executive (AE) plays a key role in driving sales and nurturing client relationships while overseeing successful furniture projects from initial concept to final installation. This position emphasizes a consultative approach, leveraging industry expertise, design awareness, and exemplary project coordination to deliver customized solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Act as the primary liaison for clients, covering corporate, healthcare, education, and commercial sectors.Establish and maintain long-term relationships to bolster repeat business and enhance client satisfaction.Gain a deep understanding of client goals, budgets, and requirements to provide tailored strategic guidance.Sales & Business Development Identify and pursue fresh business opportunities through networking, industry collaborations, and strategic outreach.Respond to RFPs/RFQs with compelling proposals that highlight value and solutions.Expand existing accounts by uncovering additional opportunities and broadening service offerings.Aim to meet or surpass sales targets set for growth.Project Coordination & Execution Oversee projects from start to finish, including programming, specification, ordering, and installation phases.Coordinate efforts among internal teams (design, project management, procurement) and external partners (manufacturers, installers, designers).Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed successfully and on schedule.Product Specification & Consultation Offer expert insights on furniture products, materials, and practical applications.Collaborate with designers and clients to create solutions that align with aesthetic, functional, and budget considerations.Maintain awareness of current product offerings, industry trends, and updates from manufacturers.Quoting & Order Management Prepare thorough and precise quotes, including necessary revisions and value engineering.Manage order placement, tracking, and resolution of any issues that arise.Ensure accuracy and meticulous attention to detail throughout the order management process.Post-Installation Support Address punch lists and resolve any issues that occur post-installation.Ensure client satisfaction and foster relationships for future opportunities.Qualifications 3-10+ years of experience in contract furniture, interior design, or a related industry.Strong understanding of furniture systems, finishes, and space planning concepts.Proven experience in sales and client management.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.Key Competencies Relationship-driven with a consultative sales approach.Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to follow-through.Able to collaborate across teams and manage competing priorities effectively.Commercially aware, focusing on profitability and client value.This position is perfect for a driven professional who flourishes in a dynamic, client-focused atmosphere and enjoys leading projects from inception to execution.
