This is an independent contractor position. We are looking for someone skilled in interior design, computer aided drafting and preferably who is proficient in Chief Architect. Athena Interiors LLC is looking for an Admin Manager/Design Assistant 32-40 hours per week at our studio on Oak St. It's an independent contractor position 4-5 days a week that focuses about half time on assisting the designers with projects and the other half on running the showroom/studio and answering calls, taking messages, and qualifying potential jobs. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively coordinate meetings, organize staff schedules, and have strong email communication. We are looking for someone with a friendly demeanor who is highly organized and ready to jump into the chaotic world of many projects, all with different moving parts. Responsibilities \\- Organize studio showroom, keep samples current \\- Organize paperwork + Gsuite files \\- Oversee staff schedules + communicate w/ clients \\- Write invoices, bank deposits + Funds tracking ledgers for each job \\- Order/pick up/ drop off of samples \\- Coordinate inbound and outbound office mail \\- Product orders, receiving + installations \\- Contribute to Interior Design project documents, search for fabrics, furnishings, lighting, etc.
