We need to supplement our already fantastic design team, with a skilled, seasoned, experienced Interior Designer to meet our Clients' needs. As Interior Designer, youll work independently as well as in a collaborative atmosphere in designing whole-home New Construction, and major custom residential renovations, and furniture merchandising/sales. As we provide design services for high end custom homes, we are seeking a candidate that has ample experience in such as well as renovations, furnishing & merchandising sales as well as the ability to project manage, and design for a variety of styles. We are seeking a creative, hardworking, highly organized, productive, and motivated candidate with 4+ years of experience in the cabinetry/millwork industry to supplement our team at ID.ology and also to work effectively and proficiently with the partnering Design + Build firms. Candidate must be able to generate high quality kitchen and bath drawings and perspectives, formulate quotes and orders from kitchen & bath drawings. Be dependable, responsive, thorough and detailed • Possess the ability to manage numerous projects at one time • Must be located in the Asheville, NC area or be interested in relocating to Asheville • Highly motivated team player • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines • Possess strong verbal and graphic communication skills • Travel to job sites as necessary • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with a major in interior design, interior architecture or a related field is preferred, but not required. COMPENSATION - Base salary plus commission Base salary starting at $50,000 - $55,000 plus commission possibilities of approx.
