Cabinet Specialist - Kitchen & Bath Designer ID.ology Interiors & Design is Asheville, NC's premier Interior Design firm providing high end design services for custom residential. Focusing on healthier materials and finishes, Aging In Place and Green design we ensure our Client's homes are not only stunning, but also contribute to the occupants wellness. We’re looking for a driven, organized, self motivated individual to join our growing team - the position is full-time with benefits included. We are seeking a creative, hardworking, highly organized, productive, and motivated candidate with 4+ years of experience in the cabinetry/millwork industry to supplement our team at ID.ology and also to work effectively and proficiently with the partnering Design + Build firms. Candidate must be talented and passionate about design, detail oriented, and have a great work ethic. We are a fast-paced environment and expect a high level of work, productivity, and positive energy for our team. Being a self-starter is a must! GENERAL Candidate must be able to generate high quality kitchen and bath drawings and perspectives, formulate quotes and orders from kitchen & bath drawings. Work directly with the installation team to oversee site implementation. Strong communication and organization skills are a vital part of this role; as are follow up and follow through. RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS: • Give presentations to the client, timeline management, order processing and job site supervision and coordination • Collaborate with design team on concepts and design development • Fulfill ordering and execution of their elevated designs that are unique and specific to each client • Proactively anticipate the needs of the team, client and project to move through projects efficiently • Generate & maintain client materials for projects, including all correspondence, drawings, binders and thorough documentation etc. • Provide accurate time records each day • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) with clients and all internal colleagues. Be dependable, responsive, thorough and detailed • Possess the ability to manage numerous projects at one time • Must be located in the Asheville, NC area or be interested in relocating to Asheville • Highly motivated team player • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines • Possess strong verbal and graphic communication skills • Travel to job sites as necessary • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with a major in interior design, interior architecture or a related field is preferred, but not required. COMPENSATION - Base salary plus commission Pay: Base salary plus commission makes up the compensation range listed. Base salary starting at $50,000 - $55,000 plus commission possibilities of approx. $8,000-$15,000 (starting compensation will be influenced by background, experience and qualifications) plus, 401(k) plan with company match and company health insurance.
