Home Staging Designer

This is a hands-on, creative interior styling position with real ownership. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no day is the exact same, enjoys creative problem-solving, and brings a high level of innovation & initiative to their work. Being a home staging designer, you’ll have the unique opportunity to apply your own design discretion with real creative autonomy in your staging projects using our large & diverse inventory. In this role, you will: • Lead the design and execution of your assigned staging projects across a wide range of home styles and price points • Developing design concepts based on each home’s layout, style, and target buyer using our inventory, systems, and design standards that reflect the SSTS Brand • Apply strong aesthetic judgment while balancing creative layout plans to maximize flow & function, and targets the target buyer’s dream lifestyle • Communicate professionally and confidently with our clients and your teammates • Executing your vision on stage day with help from our crew and junior designers • Think proactively to solve any challenges on-site or during the design process and ensure each project meets our quality standards • Conduct home walkthroughs with clients, writing & pricing detailed staging proposals • Supporting and mentoring junior designers as needed • We have a dedicated interior design department. If you have previous interior design experience and skills, there are opportunities to split your time between staging and interior design projects.

As our company continues to grow, we’re seeking our next talented, experienced Designer/Stylist to join our team. We are seeking an full-time candidate, but for the right person, this position may be available on a part-time basis. If you’re an EXPERIENCED (2-3 years) Senior Interior Stylist, Designer, Visual Merchandiser, or Home Stager with minimum two years of experience, who thrives in a fast-paced, design-forward environment and brings leadership, vision, and styling excellence to every project, we want to hear from you! What You’ll Do • Lead the full cycle of home staging projects—from initial walkthrough to installation • Develop furniture and decor plans that complement each home’s architecture and style • Select and style furniture, art, and accessories from our curated inventory • Oversee junior designers and coordinate with our staging crew • Utilize our inventory management system for planning and logistics • Occasionally contribute to marketing content (project photos and short videos) • Meet with clients and create proposals using our systems • Assist with interior design projects if you have an AA or BA degree in Interior Design • Shop for new inventory as needed • Other design-related tasks as assigned
