Lead End‑to‑End Project Design: Manage all phases of interior design projects from initial client briefing, conceptual design, and detailed design development through construction documentation and final installation. Client & Team Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for your projects, maintaining clear and proactive communication with clients throughout the process. Work closely with the Lead Designer to obtain input on key design decisions and to ensure your design plans adhere to the creative vision. Maintain your Interior Designer license in the State of Tennessee throughout your employment, in compliance with state requirements (including completing any required continuing education) – and register your license with Quinn & Company as the employer.

This position offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience across all phases of interior design while working in a collaborative, fast-paced studio environment. Design Development & Documentation • Execute Design Concepts: Work from the Lead Designer’s established creative direction to prepare detailed design documentation and ensure accuracy across drawings and materials. • Finish & Fixture Documentation: Prepare and maintain finish schedules, furniture plans, and specification sheets under the supervision of the Lead Designer. • Process Support: Contribute to maintaining and improving internal systems for documentation, order tracking, and client communication to enhance overall studio efficiency. Comfortable interacting with vendors, contractors, and clients under the direction of the Lead Designer.

We are a growing residential interior design studio that is looking to add a Design Assistant to our team. The position would include supporting the designers in day-to-day project management, producing architectural sketches, material sourcing, and pricing with vendors. ● Accurately and completely documenting all selections (construction & furnishings) for client review and approval. ● Assist Designers with multiple tasks which include (but not limited to): provide support through all phases of the design project in various tasks, site visits, space planning, presentations and delivery, drawings, plan layouts, selecting materials, ordering samples, elevations, storing/maintaining all project info, communicate with clients/vendors, resource organization and business errands. ● Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
