Role Description
Quinn & Company is seeking a Director of Operations who will manage and optimize day-to-day operations within the company. The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing bookkeeping, client relations, product logistics and business performance. This is a full-time on-site position based in the Nashville area.
We are a growing residential interior design studio that is looking to add a Design Assistant to our team. We are a laid-back but very hard-working team that works closely together and strives to provide the utmost client experience. The position would include supporting the designers in day-to-day project management, producing architectural sketches, material sourcing, and pricing with vendors.
Responsibilities:
● Provide support and administration to the Principal Designer and team.
● Generate architectural drawings including reflected ceiling floor plans and elevations.
● Visiting projects for construction administration, documentation of existing conditions, etc.
● Accurately and completely documenting all selections (construction & furnishings) for client review and approval.
● Represent Quinn & Co. to vendors & subcontractors; communicate project scope and solicit bids/quotes as required.
● Ensuring accuracy of vendor proposals.
● Update and maintain resource library.
● Enter design specifications into Quinn & Co. software.
● Assist in the creation of client presentations.
● Attend assigned meetings and project walkthroughs, keep accurate notes, recap to team and follow through on discussed design changes.
● Assist Designers with multiple tasks which include (but not limited to): provide support through all phases of the design project in various tasks, site visits, space planning, presentations and delivery, drawings, plan layouts, selecting materials, ordering samples, elevations, storing/maintaining all project info, communicate with clients/vendors, resource organization and business errands.
● Assist in providing social media content.
● Errands, including picking up samples/products and delivering to various destinations.
● May require occasional travel.
Requirements:
● Extremely organized and detail-oriented in all work.
● Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
● Ability to clearly communicate with clients, vendors & associates.
● Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
● Must be proficient in CAD, Sketchup 3D renderings or Revit, Google Sheets, Photoshop and Mac applications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
