Interior Designer

The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects at once, partner closely with sales to help win business, conduct site visits and measurements, create client presentation packets, reconfigure spaces, and perform detailed spec checks. The role requires someone equally comfortable with creative design and standard space planning. Responsibilities • Create attractive designs and layouts for various projects • Meet with client in order to understand the client's objectives and desires • Communicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needs • Prepare presentations (3D, 2D,mock-ups and renderings) for clients • Create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed • Sometimes reconfigure spaces as part of the workload; some projects are creative, some are standard space • Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Design (required) • 2+ years of commercial design experience (no residential-only backgrounds) • CET (Configura) experience • Experience in office furniture sales or knowledge of brands like HON/OFS • Highly detail-oriented (especially for spec audits) Nice to Have: • Dealer experience (highly preferred) • Project management or installation experience • GSA experience
