About the position Responsibilities • Prepare all necessary documents to support the interior and structural modification of aircraft such as detail, assembly and installation drawings, specification documents and substantiation reports. • Coordinate with outside suppliers, internal departments and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, and certification of new interior components to support floorplan modifications. Requirements • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent with two (2) years relevant experience, or a minimum of eight (8) years of practical mechanical design experience in aviation. • Organized individual, able to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional individuals, departments, and organizations.
