Junior Designer

The Junior Designer will collaborate with the Principal and/or Senior Interior and Architectural Designers across all phases of a project, including design development, construction administration, pricing, budgets, proposals, purchasing, tracking and installation. Prepare project budgets, send proposals, place and track purchase orders, and organize installation timelines and schedules with vendors and principal and/or senior designer. Manage project tasks, anticipate potential problem areas, and coordinate actions with principal and/or senior designer. Ideal candidate should have excellent organization and communication skills in addition to a strong work-ethic, attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: CAD constructions drawings, base plans, furniture plans, elevations Procurement of quotes and estimates from vendors Developing and updating budgets for projects Creating client proposals Executing and tracking purchase orders Scheduling installations with clients, delivery co, and workrooms Managing contractors and coordinating installations Communicating extensively with vendors and clients

Senior Interior Designer

We are seeking a Senior Designer with at least 6 years of high end residential interior design experience. The Senior Designer will work closely with principal and architectural designer to oversee and execute projects from conception through completion, ensuring that designs meet client specifications, budgets, and timelines. Ideal candidate should have excellent organization and communication skills in addition to a strong work-ethic, attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Research and source materials, hardware, fabrics, tile, lighting, plumbing, artwork, furniture, treatments, and accessories based on the specific requirements of each project Manage internal teams, vendor relationships, contractor execution, and client expectations Acute attention to detail in reviewing all documents to ensure that they incorporate design intent and technical accuracy Ability to manage a team through strong leadership, effective communication, collaboration, motivation and respect Be the primary point of contact for the client and builder. Communicate frequently to ensure quality control and all phases/timelines/schedules are being completed on time and on budget Schedule and perform routine site visits and keep the Principal and design team updated on progress and timelines

Central to the role will be the execution of technical interior construction drawings (including but not limited to floor plans, electrical layouts, ceiling plans, elevations, millwork & cabinetry details) while proactively managing milestones with the design team, build team, and clients. You’ll be responsible for: • Producing extensive floor plans, electrical layouts, ceiling plans, detailed elevations, millwork & cabinetry details that illustrate the design intent. • Ensuring construction (new construction and renovation) deadlines and deliverables are met to keep projects on schedule • Participate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during construction • Work collaboratively with design team, clients, architects, and builders
