Residential Designer

We are seeking a full-time Residential Designer with at least 5 years of experience designing and detailing the interiors of high-end residential properties. Central to the role will be the execution of technical interior construction drawings (including but not limited to floor plans, electrical layouts, ceiling plans, elevations, millwork & cabinetry details) while proactively managing... milestones with the design team, build team, and clients. You’ll be responsible for: • Producing extensive floor plans, electrical layouts, ceiling plans, detailed elevations, millwork & cabinetry details that illustrate the design intent. • Ensuring construction (new construction and renovation) deadlines and deliverables are met to keep projects on schedule • Participate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during construction • Work collaboratively with design team, clients, architects, and builders QUALIFICATIONS: • 5+ years experience required in high-end residential, interior architecture, and construction drawings • Degree from an accredited Interior Design or Architecture (or related) program is required • Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously as well as competing priorities • Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team member on collaborative projects. • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills • Ability to convey abstract concepts and designs through detailed drawings and effective communication • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Adobe InDesign is a plus • Ability to work in-person 5 days a week in Raleigh, North Carolina • Salary is commensurate with experience.
