Interior Design - Intern/Seasonal • Assist in the preparation of contract drawings for new and alteration projects • Assist in conducting preliminary studies to obtain information as to space and design requirements, obtaining measurements and making sketches preliminary to the preparation of contract drawings • Assist in the preparation of design development drawings • Perform basic analyses of design, planning and occupancy studies and limited design layouts. Job Requirements Candidate must be a traditional or non-traditional student, currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s degree program in the field of Interior Architecture or Interior Design who has completed 2 or more years in the program. Essential Responsibilities: • Overall knowledge of construction documentation and process • Possess interpersonal and client relation skills and the ability to handle multiple projects • Ability to assist in the production and development of design proposals • Overall knowledge of furniture specifications and budgets • Ability to lead client meetings regarding interior design issues and maintain client contact • Flexibility and agility to work on projects in a variety of locations • Proficiency in Revit and experience in Revit rendering Education/Experience: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Architecture or Interior Design with AIA or NCIDQ certification or architectural registration preferred.
