Job Type Full-time Location Jacksonville - Jacksonville, FL 32207 US (Primary) Education Bachelor's Degree Category Interior Design Job Description Hoefer Welker has an opening for an Interior Designer with an exceptionally creative design portfolio and will collaborate in all phases of project design with a focus on conceptual design, programming, space planning, documentation and selection of materials, finishes, furniture and artwork. This person will maintain cooperative working relationships, internally and externally, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a forward thinking attitude. Essential Responsibilities: • Overall knowledge of construction documentation and process • Possess interpersonal and client relation skills and the ability to handle multiple projects • Ability to assist in the production and development of design proposals • Overall knowledge of furniture specifications and budgets • Ability to lead client meetings regarding interior design issues and maintain client contact • Flexibility and agility to work on projects in a variety of locations • Proficiency in Revit and experience in Revit rendering Job Requirements Education/Experience: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Architecture or Interior Design with AIA or NCIDQ certification or architectural registration preferred. 8 of relevant corporate interiors project experience required. A creative design portfolio is required. Qualifications: The proper candidate will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, teamwork, presentation and organizational skills.Proficiency in Revit software required. Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), Google Sketchup and 3D rendering are desired. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
