Hilary Matt Interiors

Hilary Matt Interiors seeks an eager designer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant interior design experience to join our growing studio. The ideal candidate should have experience in high-end renovations and architectural projects, working on all phases of design development. The Senior Architectural Designer would work directly with Hilary, the design team, and project management team to ensure the facilitation of a project’s completion meeting timelines and budgets. Candidates must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and creative. An ideal Senior Architecture Designer should have a high level of knowledge in design and construction documents, AutoCAD drawings, and space planning.

Duties & Responsibilities • Understand project requirements and the development of design concepts, specification schedules, and construction drawing packages • Knowledge of basic carpentry and construction techniques • Produce client presentations • Source products and materials • Prepare drawings, designs, plans and models in AutoCAD and Sketchup • Work well with lead designers and project managers

- Coordinate all Procurement Project Activity from Project Kick-Off to Completion - Assist in Defining Project Scope, Timelines, Goals and Deliverables - Develop Purchase Orders and Review Acknowledgments - Meet with Team Weekly to Review Progress - Take Proactive Lead as Problems Arise to Find Solutions & Ensure Client Satisfaction - Manage and Lead Procurement and Installs for Multiple Large Scale Projects - Reliable and accurate, exacting, detail-conscious attitude with effective time management and organizational skills - Travel may be required for installs
