Architectural Interior Designer

Hilary Matt Interiors seeks an eager designer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant interior design experience to join our growing studio. The ideal candidate should have experience in high-end renovations and architectural projects, working on all phases of design development. The Senior Architectural Designer would work directly with Hilary, the design team, and project management team to ensure the facilitation of a project’s completion meeting timelines and budgets. Candidates must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and creative. An ideal Senior Architecture Designer should have a high level of knowledge in design and construction documents, AutoCAD drawings, and space planning. Responsibilities will include: - Manage timelines and priorities as part of the design team and collaboratively work with project management team - Demonstrates a highly organized and systematic approach to producing a project - Complete package of deliverables for project phases - Keeps all team members informed of status of projects and deliverables - Coordination for finish plans, specifications, and material selections - Research and source interior products and relevant interior finishes/materials for review - Review and approve quotes and shop drawings - Regular meetings with project team to review progress and ensure questions and concerns are addressed - Flexibility to work on multiple projects in various stages of development - Work closely with clients - Flexibility to travel We are looking for someone who can be in our Upper East Side studio 5 days a week.
