Interior Designer - Cabinet Specialist

We are looking for a Cabinet Specialist to assist our design team at Forward Design Build Remodel. Benefits include paid holidays, retirement savings, health insurance, profit sharing and more! Responsibilities • Provide initial cabinet design and layout • Work with designer for final cabinet design and quoting • Order cabinetry materials for all job sites in a timely manner • Work with cabinet manufacturers to establish lead times and stay up to date on training • Provide all receipts for purchases and enter in Credit Card form in Smartsheet software for accounting • Return damaged items and arrange replacement • Assist Design Team on multiple projects at varying stages of design • Attend site field measurements, surveying existing conditions • Assist in the development of presentation items, including: CAD Drawings, schedules, & selection cut sheets • Perform research and work with vendors in product selection & pricing • Develop and produce construction documents and detail sketches • Manage files & organize documentation Job Type: Full-time

Qualifications: • 3-5 years residential Interior Design experience • A sense of humor, willingness to learn and grow are also 100% required • Strong organizational skills, project management experience a plus • Creativity, positive attitude, resourcefulness, and a strong work ethic • Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills • Ability to collaborate employees, clients and outside vendors • Willingness to work in a team setting and achieve results through collaboration • Proficiency in a CAD software with demonstrated space planning skills; Sketchup and ArchiCAD experience a plus • Must be quality minded and self-motivated • Ability to successfully guide clients from initial design concepts through construction. License/Certification: • Driver's License (Required)
